I finally had the kind of week that I had been waiting for. I still don’t feel like I’ve been running good, but my numbers suggest otherwise.

A few comments about the new Party SNG structure, and the speed tourney’s. This past week all of my results were in Speed tourney’s. You can get many more finished in the same amount of time. The quality of play across all levels has been atrocious. That being said, they take some getting used to, and one is going to have to deal with a tremendous amount of bad beats. You also can’t try to accomplish other tasks (like laundry) while multi-tabling these, as the action is far too fast and furious. The play is very mechanical and boring as well, but it is a cash cow. Long term I can see these adversely affecting my game due to the ultra aggressive play required. But at this point I’m just going to try to bank as much profit as possible during the last 5 weeks of this Party Bonus offer.
